Meeting actions on the mobile app

Actions in the event cards allow you to modify your meeting on demand. Actions are available for events happening in Robin powered spaces. 

Confirm 

Confirmations help schedules run smoothly by giving folks a way to indicate if a meeting is still happening and is an essential meeting action if your office implements abandoned meeting protection. Meeting confirmations can be done from the event details page on the web dashboard, mobile app or from the room display.

Any meeting participant may confirm the event once the event is within the "confirmation window".  The confirmation window is the set time before folks can check into an event. The confirmation window can range from 10 mins to two-hours in advance. For more information on your office policies reach out to an internal admin. 

To confirm your upcoming event as the organizer, navigate to the schedule tab > locate your upcoming event > select Check in right below.

To confirm an event you're attending , navigate to the schedule tab > locate the event > select the event to open the event details > select the big blue check in button at the bottom.

The example above shows Lauren checking into an event  Ben organized. 

Extend meeting and end meeting

Once a meeting has been confirmed and is in progress, event organizers will see Extend and End action buttons in the event card. If another meeting is scheduled to start directly after yours, you'll only see the option to End.

Extend Need a little more time to wrap up your conversation? Meeting organizers may extend their room reservation assuming the room is free by tapping "Extend" from the event card and then selecting a duration. 

End In the event your meeting ends early, give yourself a pat on the back for efficiency. Then, tap "End" to free up the room for others to use. 

  

 

Notifications

Robin sends contextual notifications to let you know when your meeting is about to begin and end. Manage notification preferences from within the mobile app, from Settings > Notification Settings.

Event Starting notifications send ten minutes before the start of your next meeting. Press the notification to confirm your room reservation and check in to the upcoming event. 

Event Ending notifications send five minutes before your meeting's scheduled end time. Press the notification for options to end early or extend the meeting if the room is available and you need more time.

Presence notifications send when you (and your phone) enter a meeting room and let you know about the room's upcoming availability. Press the notification to book the room, or find an available space.
