Early access: using the Robin Workplace mobile app

This guide will help you get acquainted with the Robin Workplace app, Robin’s new mobile app for employees. This app is designed to provide a streamlined experience for booking resources around your workplace and managing your schedule. 

The features in the early access Workplace app are limited to basic booking and scheduling functionality, but it will continue to evolve over time. Currently, parking and lockers are only visible from the Office tab.

Your Schedule

The first thing you see when you open the Workplace app is your schedule. This is where you can see:

  • Your working location and the option to change it. 
  • Any desk reservations you may have (assigned and hot/hotel)
  • Any parking or locker reservations you may have
  • Upcoming meetings or events (If your personal calendar is connected).
  • If your organization has desk or space suggestions turned on, you will see these available in line.

Booking a resource 

Use the Office tab to easily find and book resources at your workplace, such as desks, parking, and lockers. 

1. Open the Robin Workplace app and tap the Office tab. 

2. Tap the date at the top to select a different date and time.  

3. Use the calendar to select the date you need and the time pickers to scroll to set the reservation time range for your booking.

4. Tap Apply. The map updates to reflect availability. 

5. Tap an available desk, parking spot, or locker (shown in green) on the map to see more details and the option to book it. 

6. Slide the menu card up to view more details, such as any booking and check in policies you need to be aware of. 

7. Tap Book.

Note that the following features are not available in the early access Robin Workplace app yet, but this will change as we continue to build the new app:

  • Adding a space to an existing event
  • Wi-Fi/badge check-in for parking and lockers
  • QR code check-in for desks
  • Booking a space directly from the space
  • Announcements
  • Profile and settings
  • Default schedule
  • List of desk reservations
  • Avatars
  • Workweek view
  • People tab with a list of people
  • Favorites
  • Who’s In
  • Hybrid work policy
