Robin uses the people count from your Logitech room devices, such as Rally Bar, Rally Bar Mini and Sight, to see when a meeting room is occupied. When it is, Robin confirms the room's meeting.
Before you start
- You need admin access in Robin.
- Your Logitech devices must be enrolled in Logitech Sync and online.
- Your Sync account needs a license that includes the Sync Cloud API: Sync Plus, Essential or Select. Basic does not include it.
Step 1: Get your details from Logitech Sync
In the Logitech Sync portal, go to Settings > Sync Cloud API:
- Select Generate new certificate. This downloads your client certificate and private key as PEM files. You can have 2 active certificates.
- Copy your Organization ID.
- Copy your API server URL. It is usually
https://api.sync.logitech.com/v1. Regional Sync accounts (EU, CA, FR) can have a different URL, so use the one your portal shows.

Step 2: Connect in Robin
- Go to Manage > Integrations > Logitech > Manage.
- Select Connect Logitech Sync account.
- Enter your Organization ID, API server URL, client certificate and private key.
- Select Connect. Robin tests the connection. If it fails, check the API server URL and the certificate, then try again.
Step 3: Map your rooms
Robin lists your Sync places and suggests the matching room in Robin. Check each match, fix the wrong ones and select Save. Only Sync places of type room appear.
Step 4: Turn on room check-in
Connecting and mapping is not enough. Both of these settings are off by default. Turn on both for each building:
- On the Logitech integration page, add the building to Enable auto-checkins.
- Go to Manage > Offices, select the building, open the Check-in tab and turn on Automatic meeting confirmation.
How it works
- Robin reads Logitech Sync every 5 minutes.
- When a mapped room has 1 or more people, Robin confirms the meeting in progress. If no meeting is in progress, Robin confirms the next meeting, if it starts inside the meeting check-in window.
- If someone already checked in, nothing changes.
- A confirmed meeting is not released by abandoned meeting protection.
Disconnect
Open the Logitech integration page and select Disconnect. This removes your account and all room mappings. You can connect again at any time.
