Robin uses your Logitech room devices (Rally Bar, Rally Bar Mini, Sight, etc.) to detect when a room is occupied and confirm its meeting automatically.
Before you start
- You need admin access in Robin.
- Your Logitech devices must be enrolled in Logitech Sync and checking in.
- Your Sync account needs an eligible license (Sync Plus, Essential, or Select — Basic does not include API access).
Step 1 — Get your credentials from Logitech Sync
All four values come from the same place. In your Logitech Sync portal, go to Settings → Sync Cloud API:
- Click Generate new certificate to download your client certificate and private key (both PEM files). You can have up to two active certificates.
- Copy your Organization ID.
- Copy your API server URL — usually
https://api.sync.logitech.com/v1. If your Sync tenant is regional (EU/CA/FR), this value may differ — use whatever your portal shows.

Step 2 — Connect in Robin
- Go to Settings → Integrations → Logitech Sync.
- Click Connect Logitech Sync account.
- Enter your Organization ID, API server, client certificate (PEM), and private key (PEM).
- Click Connect. Robin verifies the connection to Logitech Sync as part of setup — if it can’t reach Logitech Sync, double-check your API server URL and certificate, then try again.
Step 3 — Map your rooms
Robin scans your Sync places and suggests matches to your Robin rooms. Review the suggestions, fix any wrong matches, and Save. Only Logitech devices of type room appear; desks are excluded.
Step 4 — Turn on automatic meeting confirmation
Connecting and mapping isn’t enough on its own. For each mapped room, enable automatic room check-in in that room’s check-in settings (off by default). This is what tells Robin to confirm a meeting when presence is detected.
How it works after setup
Robin polls Logitech Sync every 5 minutes. When a mapped room reports people present, Robin confirms the current or next meeting. Any manual check-in still takes priority.
Disconnect
Open the Logitech Sync integration page and click Disconnect. This removes your account and all room mappings. You can reconnect anytime.
