With the Robin connector for Claude, employees can book desks, check who's in the office, look up their reservations, and plan floor layouts just by asking Claude, without switching between apps. In order for employees to use Robin in Claude:
- A Claude admin needs to add the Robin connector to your organization's Claude workspace (Team and Enterprise plans), or you add it yourself (Pro and Max plans)
- Each employee needs to connect their individual Robin account in Claude
Follow this guide to learn how to connect Robin to Claude.
Before you start
- A Claude account. Custom connectors work on Free, Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise plans. Free plans are limited to one custom connector.
- An active Robin account. You'll sign in with the same credentials (or SSO) you use for Robin today.
-
The Robin connector URL:
https://mcp.robinpowered.com/mcp
Important note: Claude can only access what the person using it can access in Robin. If they cannot book a desk in Robin, they will not be able to book a desk in Claude. If they cannot create or see a floor plan in Robin, they will not be able to in Claude.

/mcpin Claude Code. - Select robin and sign in to Robin to authenticate.
For Claude admins: add Robin to your organization
On Claude Team plans, only Owners and Primary Owners can add custom connectors. On Enterprise plans, Owners, Primary Owners, and custom roles with Manage access to Libraries can add them. Adding the connector doesn't give anyone access to Robin data; each employee still signs in with their own Robin account.
- In Claude, open Organization settings > Connectors.
- Click Add, hover over Custom, then select Web.
- Enter Robin as the name. This is the name employees see in their connectors list.
- Paste
https://mcp.robinpowered.com/mcpas the remote MCP server URL and click Continue. - Review the detected authentication settings and click Continue.
- Under Authentication, select Sign in now or Sign in when needed.
- Under OAuth client, select Use Claude's published identity (Recommended).
- Leave Request headers empty. Robin uses OAuth sign-in, not API keys.
- Click Add.
Once added, let employees know they can connect their individual Robin accounts by following the steps above.
Use Robin in Claude
- Start a new chat in Claude.
- Click the + button in the lower left of the chat box, then select Connectors.
- Make sure Robin is toggled on for the conversation.
- Ask Claude what you need in plain language.
Here are a few things to try:
| What you want to do | Try asking |
|---|---|
| Book a desk | "Book me a desk on Floor 3 for Thursday, 9 to 5." |
| Find an open seat | "What desks are free on Floor 2 tomorrow afternoon?" |
| Check your plans | "What desk reservations do I have next week?" |
| Change or cancel | "Extend my desk booking today until 6 pm." or "Cancel my reservation for Friday." |
| Find a teammate | "Where does Sam from Marketing sit?" |
| Understand your space (admins) | "Show me how each department is seated across our HQ floors." |
| Plan a move (admins) | "Draft a plan to move the Sales team to Floor 4." |
Pro-tip: Claude asks for your approval before it takes an action in Robin, like booking or cancelling a desk. Floor plan changes are always saved as a draft first, so nothing goes live until you review and publish it in Robin.
Disconnect Robin from Claude
- In Claude, navigate to Customize > Connectors.
- Find Robin and select the three dots next to it.
- Select Disconnect (or Remove on Pro and Max plans) and follow the prompts.
Claude admins can remove the connector for the whole organization under Organization settings > Connectors.
Troubleshooting
I don't see Robin in my connectors list. Your Claude admin hasn't added the connector yet. Share the admin steps above with them.
Sign-in fails or loops back to Claude. Remove the connector, add it again, and reconnect so Claude starts a fresh sign-in.
Claude says it can't find a floor, desk, or person. Claude uses your Robin permissions. Check that you can see the same floor or person in Robin, or reach out to your Robin admin.
Claude isn't using Robin. Make sure Robin is toggled on under + > Connectors for that chat. You can also ask, "Do you have access to Robin?"
