Understanding space statuses in the Robin Outlook Add-In

What are space status updates?

The Robin Outlook add-in provides status updates when you're scheduling or editing a meeting in Outlook. This eliminates the need to navigate through calendar details to understand a room's response to your invitation.

Available space statuses:

The following statuses provide a comprehensive view of a meeting space's availability:

  • Busy: The space is already booked during the requested time.
  • Accepted: The space has confirmed the meeting reservation.
  • Tentatively Accepted: The space has tentatively accepted the meeting, indicating a potential conflict or pending approval.
  • Not Responded: The space has not yet responded to the meeting invitation.
  • Declined: The space has rejected the meeting invitation.
  • Excluded: The space has been excluded from the meeting because it's unavailable, typically due to meeting conflicts or calendar syncing issues.

Where to find space statuses:

You can view space statuses in the Robin Outlook add-in when:

  • Creating a new meeting and adding a space.
  • Editing an existing meeting that includes a space.

The status is clearly displayed on the space card within the add-in, making it easy to see at a glance. This visibility is available to both meeting organizers and attendees when the event is in edit mode.
