Set up your room display with the steps below, or follow the video. Robin Rooms supports both landscape and portrait orientations.
Get a PIN from Robin Rooms
Start on your iPad or Android tablet.
- Download Robin Rooms to your iPad or Android tablet.
- Select the Robin region that hosts your organization: United States if your web dashboard URL is robinpowered.com, or European Union if it is robinpowered.eu.
- Enter your organization username. Robin Rooms shows a 6-digit PIN.
You use the PIN to pair the display from the web dashboard.
"We couldn't find a company with that username" message
Your organization username matches the spelling in your team's Robin URL. For example, the username in dashboard.robinpowered.com/acme-inc is acme-inc. If you have not set up your organization on Robin, do so before you pair your display. To start, create a Robin account.
Pair the display in the web dashboard
Use another device for these steps. As a shortcut, go to robinpowered.com/activate after you sign in. It opens the pairing panel directly, so you skip Add a device and Single Room Display.
- Open your web browser and sign in to the web dashboard.
- Go to Manage > Devices.
- Select Add a device.
- Select Single Room Display.
- Under Enter the device PIN, type the PIN from Robin Rooms.
- Under Choose a room for this display, select the building.
- Select the room to pair with the display.
- Select Activate Display.
The display activates on its own and shows its new space. This can take a moment. Then you can start to use the room display.
Turn off room display QR codes
When you pair a display with a space, Robin generates QR codes automatically so people can book the space. To turn off the QR codes, go to the Display scheduling settings on the space or office management page in the web dashboard.
