The Meeting Service feature helps offices manage special requests for events and spaces around the office. It provides detailed configuration options to help ensure meeting organizers can connect with the right person from the service team for things like food & beverage requests and/or custom room setup.
Follow the steps outlined below to configure the services your office provides for employees to request.
- Click Manage > offices > select a building.
- Scroll down and toggle ON the Workplace Services feature.
- Now, click the Services tab at the top of the web dashboard.
- Click New in the top right corner.
- Fill out the service details starting with the category.
- Click + Add category.
- Enter the category name.
- You can add a key as a reference ID for the type of service request, such as CAT for catering.
- Click Save.
- Enter the Service name.
- (Optional) Add a description of the service.
- Tip: Use the description box to provide additional instructions, resources, or links to external workflows.
For example, you may want to add "Contactxxx@domain.com for any requests less than 24 hours in advance." as catering instructions.

- Add assignees (Or providers)—the person or group that should be notified and responsible for fulfilling these service requests.
- Specify which building(s) the service is available in.
- Next, create a question form that provides details and options about the service for employees to complete. We've provided a few examples of custom form questions to help you better understand how to use this section.
Short answer option:
Use short answer questions for quick answers, such as purchase orders or cost codes.
Long answer option:
Use long answers for descriptions, allergies or other miscellaneous notes.
Multiple choice option:
Use multi-select for all multiple-choice or single-select questions. Each option can contain additional notes or images users will see when requesting the service.
Multi-select unchecked = you can only pick one option from the list.
Multi-select checked = you can pick multiple options from the list.

Menu option:
Build custom menus including quantities with localized prices with menu options. Each option can contain additional notes or images users will see when requesting the service.
File Upload option:
File upload questions are useful for uploading approved purchase orders or other documents that meet your organization’s workflows for ordering services.
