Meeting service categories encompass the various services your office provides, ranging from catering to room set-up support. Utilize the Service Categories table to view and update the name and/or service key for your organization's different service categories offerings. This helps maintain a manageable and up-to-date services menu, especially for larger organizations.
- Existing tickets will not be affected by category name changes, code changes, or deletions.
- Services must be deleted or moved to another category before you can delete a category.
1. Navigate to Services in the top ribbon of the web dashboard.
2. Select Setup in the left panel.
3. Select the Service categories tab at the top.
4. You can sort and search the categories table using the tools at the top of each column.
5. Select the edit pencil to make changes to the category and save changes.
6. Select the trash can icon to delete a category.
- Services must be deleted or moved to another category before you can delete a category.

Notice that the category "Randy test" cannot be deleted because it has a service associated with it.
