Introduction
A status board offers big-screen signage for real-time availability. With a quick glance at a TV around your office, or a touch of a button on an interactive map, users can easily reserve spaces & desks based on availability, amenities & location.
Admins can set up status boards in the web dashboard. To get started, follow the steps outlined below.
- Open the web dashboard and select Manage in the top ribbon.
- Select Devices in the left panel.
- Select Add a device.
- Select Status Board.
- Select a board type: static map, interactive map (Requires a touch-screen device), or scheduling(only supports spaces).
- Select Continue.
- Use the module to add the board information. Name the board according to where it will be in the office.
- Select the building and floor.
- If you need to restrict status boards to an IP address, enter the IP addresses (router IP(s)) or IP CIDR blocks to whitelist it. Status Boards will only load information on these approved networks.
- Select Continue.
- If you're using a map, drag the map to where the status board will live in the office.
- Add/remove the "you are here" marker using the toggle setting.

Next, customize how the map appears on the board. Use the default dark theme or change it to the light theme.

Use the "Show zoomed map" toggle to highlight the area of the office you want the map to focus on. This is especially helpful if there are multiple kiosks nearby.

Use the corner points to reshape the selection and use the "rotate" button to rotate the selection.

- Configure the privacy settings to manage what information is displayed on the status board.
- Click Activate status board.
- Copy the unique URL to paste into a browser.
- Open a web browser & paste the URL link.
- Make the window full screen (e.g., mini PC or Chromecast).
- The browser must be on a touch-enabled display or input device for kiosk boards.
- On a TV, set the board to fullscreen.
- Done! The board updates automatically as statuses change.
Editing or deleting a status board
If you delete a status board for a building or level and then recreate the same board, the web dashboard will activate a new link. Be sure to copy the updated link to your status board device (the old link will no longer be valid).
To edit or delete a status board:
1. Go to Manage > Devices > Status Boards in the top ribbon of the web dashboard.
2. Select the pencil icon next to a board from the list.
