Types of email Robin sends

Robin sends transactional emails about your account. Robin never sends marketing or promotional emails without your consent. When Robin needs your confirmation to send some types of email, you see a prompt like this one:

Transactional emails

You get some emails with important information about your account. Which ones you get depends on your activity in Robin and your user role. These are the transactional emails that Robin sends.

Everyone

Changes to privacy policy or terms of use: When Robin updates its privacy policy or terms of use, all users get an email with information about the changes.

Admins

  • Trial updates: You get an email when your Scheduling or Desks trial is about to expire and when it ends.
  • Registration and set up: You get an email when you sign up for an account or create an organization.
  • Billing updates: If your plan expires or a scheduled payment has an issue, your account owner gets an email.

Employees

  • Invitation email: When an admin invites you to join an organization on Robin, you get an email invite to sign up.
  • Reset password or find organization: If you have trouble signing in, submit your email. Robin sends you a reset password link or your organization info.
  • Meeting cancellation: If an event on your calendar is cancelled, you get an email notification. Your native calendar sends all meeting cancellation emails, except the ones that Abandoned meeting protection causes. Those come from mailer@robinpowered.com.
  • Desk assignments: Each time you are assigned a desk or you reserve a desk, you get a confirmation email.

This list may change as Robin adds and removes features.

Other emails from Robin

A transactional email does not subscribe you to other emails from Robin. The system sends transactional emails in the cases listed above. Marketing and promotional updates are optional.

If you signed up for emails such as product updates, Robin keeps sending them. To unsubscribe, manage your notification settings.

If you think you got an email by mistake, email the Robin support team. The team looks into it.
