Add Robin to Slack

Integrate Robin with your company's Slack account. With the Robin app for Slack, employees can see who is in the office, update plans, book a desk, and get timely reservation notifications without switching apps.

For employees to use Robin in Slack:

1. An admin connects Robin and Slack at the organizational level.
2. Employees connect their individual Slack accounts in their Robin user settings.

Connect Robin and Slack

An admin starts the connection in Robin, then finishes it in a Slack window.

Start in Robin

Open the Slack setup from the Integrations page.

1. Go to Manage > Integrations.
2. Under Add Connectors, find Slack and select Set up. The Slack page opens.
3. Select Add to Slack. A Slack window opens.

Finish in Slack

Sign in to Slack and allow the Robin app.

1. In the Slack window, enter your workspace's Slack URL.
2. Sign in to your Slack team.
3. Under Workspace, select your Slack team.
4. Under Channel for webhook, select the channel that Robin posts to. Tip: you can select a DM with yourself from the dropdown.
5. Select Allow. Robin connects to your Slack team automatically.
6. Invite Robin to a common channel, or keep it as a DM-only tool.
