You can easily invite others to your events and see response statuses from your schedule using Robin.
From the web dashboard
You can invite others by entering their email address or (for other Robin users) their name. We'll try to auto-complete names from your contact list (if you've connected a personal calendar integration), or based on past events and current user lists within Robin.
From the mobile app
You can invite others by entering their name or email address.
Android:
Robin asks for permission to access your device's contact list, and will auto-complete invitee details based on your contacts.
iOS:
Robin asks for permission to access your device's contact list, and will auto-complete invitee details based on your contacts and the current user lists within Robin.
Viewing invitee responses
Invitees' RSVP status will appear wherever you see event details, including from the web dashboard, mobile app, and room display.
Status:
- A star badge indicates the organizer of this event. Organizers are able to edit or delete events.
- A green check mark indicates who has RSVP'ed "yes" and accepted this event.
- A red X indicates who has RSVP'ed "no" and declined this event.
- No icon (mobile) or a gray ellipses badge (dashboard) shows who has been invited to the event. Their RSVP status is unknown.
Invitee statuses and Outlook
When meetings are booked through Outlook via Exchange or Office 365 service accounts, the invitees' accepted or declined statuses will not automatically appear in Robin as we recommend limiting the impersonation scope of the connected service account to room resource calendars only.
Users will need to connect their personal calendar to be able to see responses statuses for events they have organized.
