You can create a private meeting in Robin from the web dashboard and mobile app using the event composer.
From Robin's web dashboard via event composer:
From the mobile event composer:
1. Find a space to book & create a new event.
2. Select More options in the mobile event composer.
3. Toggle on Private meeting.
If you don't see the privacy option on the mobile app, add a room to your event, and this should populate the private meeting option.
Private events created in Google Calendar & Outlook
- Events marked private in Google Calendar, Outlook, or Robin will be obscured on the web dashboard, mobile apps, and room display.
- Note that you need to explicitly mark the event as "private" in your Google or Outlook calendar.
Warning
If your Google Calendar is private, selecting "default visibility" does not equate to marking the event as private. It is best practice to explicitly mark the meeting as "private". To learn more about meeting visibility with Google Calendars refer to Google's support guide.
