Requirements
- Robin Global admin for setup
The Google working location integration syncs users' schedules between Robin and Google Calendar, so users update their schedule in one place. It supports recurring (set) schedules and one-off visits.
Users can make updates in Robin or in Google Calendar. Both schedules show the same information.
Turn on the integration
Turn on working location sync for your organization in Robin. Map your buildings so that the sync works correctly.
- Go to Manage > Integrations.
- In the Installed list, select Manage next to Google Workspace. If Google Workspace is not installed, find it under Add Connectors and select Set up. The Google Workspace page opens.
- Under Features, find Working locations. If you see Connect, select it and connect your Google account.
- Select Manage next to Working locations. The Robin and Google Location Mapping window opens.
- For each Google building, select a building in the Robin Location column. Building mapping is 1:1. You cannot map more than one Google building to a Robin location.
- Select Save in the top-right corner.
- Below Working locations, turn on Allow personal integration. This setting lets users turn on working location sync.
After you set up the integration for the organization, each user connects their Google account (if they have not already). Then they turn on the Sync Google Working Locations setting in their user settings. To learn more, see the employee experience for Google working location sync.
