Requirements
- Access Control
Robin's access control integrations use badge swipes to check people in and to measure office occupancy. This article gives an overview of the integrations and how they relate to occupancy.
Capabilities and benefits
Badge data from your access control system improves check-ins and analytics.
Automated check-ins
- Employees with an assigned or reserved desk are checked in automatically.
- Employees without a desk reservation are marked as confirmed on-site on the “Who’s In” list and the Daily Roster.
- You get an accurate, real-time list of who is in the office.
Enhanced analytics
- Analytics on check-ins and office usage are more reliable and accurate, especially for offices with many assigned desks.
- Check-in data shows which check-ins came from badge swipes.
Caveats and limitations
- Analytics do not include badge swipes per door or per floor.
- Users do not get notifications for these check-ins. WiFi check-ins do send notifications.
