What status boards do
A status board shows real-time availability on a big screen. People look at a TV in your office, or touch an interactive map, and reserve resources by availability, amenities and location.
Robin supports 3 types of status boards:
- Interactive map or kiosk status board
- Static map status board
- Scheduling status board (list view for spaces only)
Displays and browsers
Status boards work with most modern browsers. They show in landscape or portrait mode, depending on the display. If your office already has TVs, you can probably use them to run status boards.
Some TVs have limited built-in browser support. For the most reliable experience, connect a separate device such as a Chromebit or Airtame.
Robin does not keep a list of compatible TV browsers. Test your TV before you decide whether to use a separate device. Robin has no native apps for Apple TV or Roku.
