Slack + Robin: Book a desk using Slack – Robin Help Center

Prerequisites

Slack Pro or Business+ account, Slack Enterprise Grid is not supported at this time.
An admin installed the Robin app for your company's Slack workspace.
You've connected and authenticated your Robin user account with your Slack account.

1. Open the Robin app channel and enter /book-a-desk command to open the booking menu.

2. Use the drop-downs to set your reservation criteria and select a desk from the list.

3. Click Book, and then you'll receive a reservation confirmation.

4. Click View in Robin to see where the desk is located on your office map.

Having trouble accessing the command?

In order to get this functionality, the Slack integration on the organization level needs to be refreshed by a Robin admin. We know this is not ideal, and we're working on a better workaround for this. Admins, follow this guide for steps on how to do this.
