How back-to-back meeting check-ins work

The back-to-back meeting check-in feature (applies to room display check-ins only) eliminates the need to check into each meeting individually when you have several meetings in the same room. Meaning, you no longer need to stop what you’re doing to tap the room display again.

  1. The back-to-back meeting check-in feature is triggered when you check into a meeting using the room's display or tablet.
  2. Once you check in, the system automatically searches for any of your meetings scheduled immediately after the current one.
  3. The system will check you into these subsequent meetings, provided they are in the same room as the initial meeting. This feature does not apply to meetings in different rooms.
  4. It doesn't matter who the meeting organizer is. As long as any attendee is present for both the initial meeting and the subsequent meetings, the check-in will occur.

Important considerations

  • It is crucial to note that only check-ins performed directly on the room display will activate the back-to-back check-in feature. If you check in using other methods, such as via Slack, the feature will not be triggered.
  • Today, analytics will indicate how and when the meeting was checked in; however, it does not specifically note that it was part of an automatic consecutive meeting check-in workflow.
