What’s changing with the map in Robin?

We’ve upgraded the map to make it faster, easier, and more flexible. The new version loads quicker, reduces the time it takes to find and book a space, and supports all resource types—desks, parking, lockers, and more.

How will this help me in my day-to-day work?

  • Less waiting: The map loads faster, so you can move quickly from task to task.
  • All resources in one place: Book parking spots, lockers, and even custom resources (beyond desks).
  • Easier navigation: Clearer views, improved zoom, and streamlined wayfinding make it easier to find what you need.
  • Better booking tools: Quickly switch dates and locations, and soon, manage all your bookings and see personalized suggestions.

Will the map layout change?

We’ve designed the new map with simplicity in mind:

  • A cleaner, less cluttered view keeps the focus on the map itself.
  • A new right-hand side bar gives you details without taking you away from the map.

Do these improvements work on both web and mobile?

Yes! We’ve consolidated systems so your experience is smoother and consistent whether you’re at your desk or on the go.

Do I need to do anything on my side?

No. Turning on the new map will be as simple as clicking the “Switch to beta” button in the Map view of your Office tab. While the UI has been enhanced, much of the work was handled behind-the-scenes. Navigation and reservation workflows will feel very familiar to you and your users. 

What’s coming next?

In 2026, we’re exploring additional configuration controls and customization options to give admins even more flexibility in tailoring the experience for their teams.
