Desk types
In Robin, there are 3 different types of desks with different booking rules. Your admin may assign you to a fixed desk (assigned desk) or give you permission to book a flexible desk (e.g., hot or hotel).

About desk sharing in Robin
Shared seating is a desk configuration for assigned seats (only) that allows employees to open their assigned desk up for others to use while they're out of the office. Users can manage their own desk availability, and/or admins can manage it on a user's behalf. Your admin should communicate how to use desks in your office and if desk sharing is available.
