How to archive desks and spaces

When a desk or space is archived, it's not active in any user-facing features, and you are not billed for the archived desk. In this guide, you'll learn how to archive/unarchive desks and spaces using the Layout tool.

Check out this guide to learn the difference between deleting, archiving, and "turning off" a desk/space.

How to archive a desk

1. From the Layout tool, drag your cursor to select a desk group or hold shift + click a desk to select a single desk.

2. The archive option will appear in the right panel. Check the box to archive.

3. To reactive an archived desk(s), repeat the same steps, and uncheck the archive box.
