Manage your user profile and change your user settings on your profile page in the web dashboard. To open it, select Avatar > User settings.
Change your profile picture
Robin gives you a default avatar image. To add or change your profile photo, open the Personalization tab on your User Settings page.
Select Upload photo and select a square image under 5Mb. Robin recommends 120 x 120 pixels for best results, and resizes any upload for you.
For SCIM-provisioned customers, Personalization fields are read-only. Change your avatar, email or name in your system of record.
Add or change your email address
- To add, change or remove an email address, go to Personalization > Add New Email.
- Enter your secondary email address and select Save Changes. Then check your email account for a verification email from Robin.
- After you verify a secondary email address, you can promote it to your primary address. By default, Robin sends your meeting invites to the primary address.
You can remove a secondary email at any time. Select Remove.
Set your workplace preferences
Set workplace preferences to change how Robin works for you.
Choose your homepage
Choose the Robin homepage that works best for you: the Schedule tab shows who's in this week, and the Map tab shows your office map.
Set a preferred office location
If your company has many office locations, Robin recommends that you set a preferred office location. The Robin dashboard and mobile app open on this office. You can switch between offices and floors.
Set the day of the week your calendar starts on
Select the day of the week your schedule view starts on from the dropdown list.
Localization
Set your language, time zone and time format.
Language preference
Robin's default language is English. Select a different language from the dropdown.
Change your default time zone
By default, the web dashboard uses the local time zone of your browser to schedule reservations. You can change it. You can set the time zone and 24-hour setting only at the user level.
Note: The timezone setting applies to the web dashboard only. Other Robin apps (e.g., mobile) rely on your device settings.
Show schedules in 24-hour time
By default, Robin shows time on the 12-hour clock with AM and PM. To show 24-hour time in your web dashboard or mobile app views, select the 24-hour clock setting, then select Save and Reload.
Do these settings change the time for my whole organization?
No. All settings under the user profile are personal preferences for you only. The 24-hour time setting and preferred time zone setting do not change anything for other people in the organization.
Mobile app
The Robin mobile app follows the settings of your device. If your phone shows 24-hour time, Robin does too.
To change it, go to your phone's Settings > Date and Time > 24 hour time.
(This example is from an iPhone. Settings on other mobile devices may be different.)
Accessibility setting
Turn on this setting to show status colors only for available spaces.
Update notification preferences
In your user settings, select Notifications in the left toolbar. From the menu, choose which notifications you get and how.
Supported integrations
Connect your own Google or Office 365 email account, Zoom or Bluejeans account, and Slack or Teams account to Robin to get more features and custom scheduling.
To learn what you get when you connect your email account, see connect your work calendar. On your personal integrations page, select Connect for your G Suite or Office 365 account.
Note: your account connects automatically if you sign in to Robin with Single Sign-On.
Security
Reset or change your password, or deactivate your account.
Reset your password
If you signed in successfully at least once, you can reset your password. Watch the video or follow the steps below.
Reset a forgotten password
- Go to dashboard.robinpowered.com/forgot and enter the email address you used to sign up for Robin. This is usually your work email.
- Check your email for a password reset link. Follow the link to create your new password.
Common pitfalls
If you did not get a password reset email from Robin, check these possible causes:
- The password reset email may have gone to your spam folder.
- You may have used a different email address to create your Robin account.
Change your password
To change your password, open the Security tab on your User Settings page. Enter your current password and your new password, then select Save Changes.
If you forgot your current password, select "Reset it" and follow the instructions Robin sends to your email.
Deactivate your account
To deactivate your account, open the Security tab on your User Settings page. Select Deactivate Account to send an email to the Robin Support team. Robin disables your account shortly after.
If you are the only owner or admin of an active team on Robin, first assign someone else to the owner role, so your team does not lose its data.
Keep in mind
You cannot reactivate an account after you deactivate it.
