Over the past few months, we’ve continued to make the workplace easier to plan, manage, and navigate.
That means giving workplace teams more control over their space, making it easier for employees to find what they need, and reducing the manual work involved in planning a day at the office.
From a more powerful Map Editor and building-level move planning to a new global search experience and wider access to the Robin User Agent, here are some of the biggest updates we released this summer.
Keep workplace maps up to date without leaving Robin
Keeping floor plans accurate has traditionally meant going back to architectural files or relying on outside teams every time something changed.
Robin’s Map Editor now gives workplace teams more control over those changes directly in the platform.
Admins can make structural and layout updates themselves, helping office maps stay aligned with the physical workplace as spaces evolve. That means fewer external dependencies, faster updates, and more reliable maps for employees using Robin to navigate the office.
Plan workplace moves across an entire building
Scenario Planning now supports planning across an entire building instead of limiting each draft to a single floor.
Workplace teams can move employees between floors within the same scenario, see existing desk assignments across the building, and publish changes floor by floor.
For larger moves and phased workplace changes, this gives teams a clearer way to plan ahead without making changes to the live workplace before they’re ready.

Let employees manage their workday with the Robin Agent
The Robin Agent is now available to all customers.
Employees can use natural language to complete everyday workplace tasks, helping them spend less time navigating between different workflows.
They can ask Robin to help plan their week, reserve desks and other workplace resources, fill gaps in their schedule, and find rooms for upcoming meetings.
The goal is to make common workplace tasks feel less like software workflows and more like simply asking for what you need.
Find people, spaces, and workplace resources from one search
Employees no longer need to navigate between different parts of Robin to find what they need.
Global Search brings people, desks, spaces, and Custom Resources into one search experience across Robin.
Employees can quickly find coworkers, see where they’re sitting, locate available desks and rooms, and search for resources like parking, lockers, equipment, and other bookable workplace assets.
From there, they can move directly into the reservation flow without having to search across multiple pages.
Understand demand for Custom Resources
As more teams use Robin to manage parking, lockers, equipment, and other shared resources, understanding how those resources are actually being used becomes more important.
A new pre-built Custom Resources dashboard gives workplace teams a clearer view of inventory, usage, and demand across the resources employees are booking.
Teams can use that data to see which resources are being used most often, where demand is growing, and where inventory may need to change over time.
It gives admins a better way to make decisions about the workplace resources employees rely on beyond desks and meeting rooms.
Compare planned space with how it’s actually being used
A workplace plan only tells part of the story. What matters is whether teams are actually using space the way you expected.
New Space Planning views make it easier to compare planned allocation with actual utilization across the workplace.
Using stack planning and neighborhood-level views, teams can better understand how departments are using their assigned space and where actual usage differs from the original plan.
That gives workplace teams more context when deciding whether to adjust layouts, rebalance space between teams, or rethink how space is allocated over time.
Plan ahead for busy office days
Knowing what happened in the office last month is useful, but workplace teams also need to understand what’s coming next.
New Desk Insights give teams more visibility into upcoming occupancy so they can better anticipate busy days and understand where demand is building.
Admins can also get to individual booking details faster, making it easier to investigate patterns and understand what’s driving occupancy on a particular day.
The result is a more proactive view of desk demand, helping teams plan for busy periods before employees arrive.
