These Robin updates from the past few months make your workplace easier to plan, manage and navigate.
Workplace teams get more control over their space. Employees find what they need more easily, and planning a day at the office takes less manual work.
Here are some of the biggest updates Robin released this summer, from a more capable Map Editor and building-level move planning to a new global search and wider access to the Robin User Agent.
Keep workplace maps up to date without leaving Robin
To keep floor plans accurate, teams used to go back to architectural files or depend on outside teams each time something changed.
Robin’s Map Editor now lets workplace teams make more of those changes directly in Robin.
Admins can make structural and layout updates themselves, so office maps match the physical workplace as spaces change. There are fewer outside dependencies, updates are faster, and employees who use Robin to find their way around the office get more reliable maps.
Plan workplace moves across a whole building
Scenario Planning now supports planning across a whole building. Each draft is no longer limited to a single floor.
In the same scenario, workplace teams can move employees between floors, see existing desk assignments across the building, and publish changes floor by floor.
For larger moves and phased changes, teams can plan ahead without changing the live workplace before they are ready.

Let employees manage their workday with the Robin Agent
The Robin Agent is now available to all customers.
Employees can use natural language to do everyday workplace tasks, so they spend less time moving between different workflows.
They can ask Robin to help plan their week, reserve desks and other workplace resources, fill gaps in their schedule and find rooms for upcoming meetings.
The goal is for common workplace tasks to feel less like working through software and more like asking for what you need.
Find people, spaces and workplace resources from one search
Employees no longer need to go to different parts of Robin to find what they need.
Global Search brings people, desks, spaces and Custom Resources into one search across Robin.
Employees can find coworkers, see where they sit, find available desks and rooms, and search for resources such as parking, lockers, equipment and other bookable workplace assets.
From the results, they go directly into the reservation flow, without searching across several pages.
Understand demand for Custom Resources
As more teams use Robin to manage parking, lockers, equipment and other shared resources, it matters more to know how people use those resources.
A new pre-built Custom Resources dashboard shows workplace teams the inventory, usage and demand for the resources employees book.
Teams can use this data to see which resources people use most, where demand grows and where inventory may need to change over time.
Admins can make better decisions about the resources employees depend on, beyond desks and meeting rooms.
Compare planned space with actual use
A workplace plan shows only part of the picture. What matters is whether teams use space the way you expected.
New Space Planning views make it easier to compare planned allocation with actual utilization across the workplace.
With stack planning and neighborhood-level views, teams can see how departments use their assigned space and where actual use differs from the original plan.
Workplace teams then have more context when they decide whether to adjust layouts, rebalance space between teams or change how they allocate space over time.
Plan ahead for busy office days
Knowing what happened in the office last month helps, but workplace teams also need to know what comes next.
New Desk Insights show more about upcoming occupancy, so teams can expect busy days and see where demand grows.
Admins can also get to single booking details faster. This makes it easier to look into patterns and understand what drives occupancy on a given day.
Teams see desk demand ahead of time and can plan for busy periods before employees arrive.
